FreeSat not connecting
My first dealings with a freesat "dongle". Client could not connect to iPlayer and asked me to take a look. Thought at first the dongle was supposed to be inserted at a 22o angle. Not so, it had been damaged at some point. I did not have a suitable WAN/LAN connector so an easy fix as the router was close to the TV, I plugged a Cat5 cable between Tv and Router. Job sorted, Cable £5.
The original Panasonic Adaptor (#DY-WL10) has been superceeded by the Pansonic Adaptor TY-WL20U costing around £145 on Amazon. A fully compatible NetGear Adaptor WNDA3100 costs around £50 and I am assured that it works perfectly with Panasonic televisions.
